Rybinsk State Aviation Technical University named after PA Solovyov is a public higher educational institution, established in 1932. It is considered the most prestigious university of Yaroslavl region. Rybinsk State Aviation Technical University provide the modern level of training specialists with competencies in the field of implementation of innovative technologies for the aviation, aerospace, energy, information and defense industries, the generation of knowledge and synthesis of innovations in priority directions of development of science and technology on practical applied research.

The University is equipped with expensive industrial and test installations. It also has a library, sports facility and medical centre for its students. The library was there since 1955 with more than 660 thousand books. It consists of periodicals, scientific literature, normative reports on research, technical documents, university papers, publications STI and electronic resources.

To give international exposure to the students, the University actively participates in international competitions, exhibitions and conferences.

Till now Rybinsk State Aviation Technical University has trained over 24000 professionals.
