Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University was founded in 1899. Today it is recognized as a world-class university which is confirmed by world rankings: 11th among the top 100 Russia’s universities , 43rd among The Best universities in Europe, 5 stars in international QS ranking for online learning.

Research in the university plays a vital role in its activity. Since the foundation of the university in 1899, a large number of its graduates have become renowned worldwide in various spheres and won prestigious awards, including the Nobel Prize. At the end of the educational process, the students should pass tests and receive certificates. Students completing tuition in a program offered by SPbSTU are eligible to apply for Bachelor and Master degrees at SPbSTU upon taking the admission interview.
